Our local news sources are inundated with this story as this man is CEO of our areas largest employer. They are taking several different tacts, one station has turned this into a soapbox for helmet requirement (EDIT: which he was wearing). This report tends to be more biased to the road engineering aspect.
My purpose for posting this is as a reminder to ride within our skill limits and to be careful on roads we're unfamiliar with. Accidents happen, unfortunately, so a bit of caution is always wise. IMHO
