i read on this forum that the 2004 version of Specialized's Armadillo tire is much better than the previous version. Is there any quick way to tell the difference between the two versions?

2004 is more rounded 2003 has a bit of a lip (kind of like a motorcycle racing tire) at the edge of the tread going to the sidewall.
