Cannot help you with the Seattle side, but I can help you with the eastside if you come across I-90.
Exit the I-90 trail at 118th AVE SE, go left.
Right on SE 8th St.
As you go under I-405 you will see a trail on the NE corner of the intersection of SE 8th and the NB I-405 on-ramp, it runs parallel to the NB onramp, climbing up the hill - take that trail.
The trail drops you into 116th Ave NE, head north
At the T, right onto Northup Way
2nd left onto NE 24th, climb the hill
Halfway up the hill, you will see the entrance to the 520 trail on your right, take the trail
Follow the 520 trail till it ends at W. Lake Sammamish Pkwy. NE
Go straight across W. Lake Sammamish Pkwy. NE on the sidewalk, cross the Sammamish River and drop onto the Sammamish River trail on your left.
Left on the trail to Marymoor park.

Not familiar so much with the Seattle side, but there's a few options:
1) Take a route to the Montlake entrance at 520, hop the bus across, and take the 520 trail the rest of the way to the Sammamish River Trail and into the park.
2) Hop on the Burke-Gilman over at UW and follow it until you hit the park. Make sure that you make a left after exiting the Bothell tunnel and turn onto the Sammamish River Trail section, not going straight across the bridge after the tunnel.

It's about 23 miles if you stick to the trail from the UW stadium out to Marymoor.
Be mindful of the root heaves from the north leg of the trail just east of Log Boom Park until you get to Bothell.

The Seattle side is easy. Just get on Lake Washington Boulevard at Seward Park and head north toward the I-90 bridge. When you get to Colman Park, the road that goes straight toward Leschi (under I90) changes name to Lakeside. Don't go straight. Instead, turn left, and follow Lake Washington up through Colman Park. You'll end up on Lake Washington Boulevard, high above the I-90 bridge. From there, you just drop down on to the I-90 bridge, and take the route described above across Mercer Island, through Bellevue, to the 520 bike path.

The Seattle side is easy.
If I'm heading downtown, I usually just hop the BG trail down to the stadium then head across the bridge and up through Cap. Hill so I can swing by the Vic and grab a coffee. It's the really really long way, but I'm never in a hurry if I'm heading over there.

so from UW its go across the burke gillman across the bridge near the ima go across montlake bridge then take your immeadeate left into residential then follow the signs to lake washington loop then when you exit to e madison take a left then a right back onto lake washington blvd that will take you eventually to lower madison park and to leschi then to seward then to i90 then to marymoore... thats the commute to work for me... please dont bike on lake washington blvd i nthe arboretum.... too many cars and the cars have to pass you and the roads suck... theres a bike trail for a reason... people who can keep a constant 20-30 yeah you can bike there but cars will still pass you...
Coming off of Mercer island trail @ lake washington Blvd:
1) Turn right
2) Turn left to get to the trail that takes you to factoria.
3) Up the factoria hill
4) Left at the first overpass, across I-90
5) Right into BCC, then immediate left
6) Left when the road ends.
7) Left at the stop light
8) Right on main
9) Left on 164th.
10) Left on 30th when the street ends
11) Right on bel-red.
12) Continue on bel-red, marymoor will be on the right
Note that the 520 trail is either closed for construction or will be very shortly.
