I want to see one built up....there was a steel pista that Specialized produced in very very limited numbers back in the day, I thought they looked damned nice.

yeah I like the look of that bike a lot. Which is weird, b/c I generally don't like specialized as a company.

I'm digging the retro look, but does anyone know the price? Too bad they're still going to continue making the fugly alum Langster.

That thing looks awesome. It doesn't look like there will be an option for a "complete". I'd take one if I didn't just buy a new bike.

The frameset should retail just under 500 and it's track geo unlike a regular langster. I'll be picking one up as soon as they become available.

from what I hear...

Media: The new Langster steel is Specialized's first foray in to the world of Keirin racing. It will be the only mass produced NJS stamped Keirin framest made outside of Japan. Specialized have teamed up with Dokuru and will be providing frames and componentry to a Keirin team in 2010. Langster steel sold as frameset only, expected to arrive in Continental US stores by August 09. MSRP $650

I also read that they're the same as the new khs's and are both produced in one of colnago's factories. (colnago is the only non-japanese njs certified builder.)

I have a little bias...but I really like the retro styling on the bike.
