Just ordered a Cannondale Synapse Carbon 3. Bike equipped with full Ultegra with a more relaxed geometry. With any luck, will be riding this weekend. LBS giving me the bike for thirty days with full money back garantee. This is what sealed the deal!

:thumb: Pictures and a ride report from first ride on the new bike are a must.

I have a Carbon Synapse Dura Ace. 10 x better than my old Aluminum Trek.

You'll love it

290 miles on Slick, my Synapse Carbon 5. I believe you're going to like it.

If your objective has been to instill envy, you, sir, have accomplished your task admirably!

By today's aggressive frame design standards, a relaxed geometry is a very good thing, indeed. We expect a full report.

Now THIS is what I call a relaxed geometry: :)

I purchased the Synapse Carbon 4 w/sram Rival last Friday. 87 miles later I LOVE it.

I've got about 4,000 miles on my Synapse w/ Campy Record. It's light (just over 15 lbs) and I love it for centuries and multi-day rides. Still want to get a stiffer bike for shorter more aggressive rides. The Synapse frame isn't very stiff and doesn't climb or accelerate very well, but it sure is smooth.

I recently bought a 4 with Sram Rival. I test rode the High Mod 1 and was amazed, but couldn't afford/justify the price. Tried the 4/Sram and loved it. Never rode Sram before and just really liked the shifting. I love the smoothness, and the ease of getting power to the ground. I find my synaspe climbs better than anything I've ridden. The High Mod 1 was better , but not by much. The more I ride this bike the more I like it. Its made me a better rider. (Better is a very relative term though. I'm still a slug, but a better slug is still better.)

I have about 22,000 miles on my Synapse Carbon 1, it's a fine bike and so comfortable on the long rides.
