i just ordered a motobecane fantom cross uno. i have these FSA vero road doubles. can i put the chainring on the inside and a chain guard on the outside and use the original bottom bracket (110mm meant for doubles) and still maintain a straight 42mm chainline? (the rear has a 120mm fork-end spacing) thanks!

what is the length of the bb for the cranks you want to use? there does not seem to be alot of clearance between the chainring and frame on my Uno. my cranks are FSA Vero 175s on a 58cm frame. very nice bike I took the knobbies off and put some inexpensive red tires on it. there is a pic in another Uno thread

I'm a bit confused by your post. I thought that these came with Veros and a guard already.

He has me puzzled too that is what mine has on it. only reason I can think of switching is length.
