Hey all, just joined the site and thought I would say hi. I've been riding and racing for longer then I care to remember. I do the weekly Montrose and Rose Bowl rides as well as getting out of town to ride in the places I love (Eastside of Sierra, N. County SD, SLO area). I race on the weekends, mainly crits. My user name says it all. I'm 6'3" and 210 lbs and provide one of the best drafts you can find. If you find yourself there say hello.

Welcome to the community, you'll find it to be very friendly -- for the most part, and most of all, very helpful

Welcome to the forum. You will find all kinds of info here. I certainly have. I had a college buddy I used yto cycle with in the early 70's. He was about your height albeit a bit lighter. He had so much leg strength he would rip the threads right of the the cassette on his Pugeot (did I spell it right?). He drove the local bike shop nuts trying to keep cassettes and rear hubs together. I always had to draft him to keep up. I had to pedal downhill while he coasted. There was a 60 pound weight difference between us. Anyone would have a hard time drafting me now. I'm small, about 5'4" and I ride a recumbent. Just not much there to draft. Cycle easy and enjoy the forum!
