"The 33"-Road Bike Racing - I just threw up
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

While sitting up after my final 1' interval of the evening, I threw up all over myself, the bike and the trainer mat. It was mostly water, so not that bad of a mess.
I haven't gone that hard on my own in a very long time. My legs and throat feel like crap now, but I sort of feel good about myself too. Now I wish I could motivate myself to actually eat something...
There's no point to this post. I've just been really down and unmotivated the last 4 weeks, and I just wanted to share this moment with people who may understand.
I'm glad you got some motivation back.

You probably lost weight from throwing up so thats a plus :thumb:
motivation is good and very necessary in a sport that demands as much from one as this. I think you've got more in your legs than you let on, it just needs to find it's way to the pedals. ;)

You'll eventually learn how to control it better. Like my wife, when she first saw me naked, she threw up. I'm a natural ipecac. But she learned not to eat or drink too much before we go to bed. Just like you'll learn not to drink a gallon of fluids before going all out on 1' intervals.

Did you save me the big pieces?

Somebody has to at least semi-seriously tell you that throwing up is not the sign of a good workout. That way lies pathology, and it seems you've already heard from a few advanced cases.
