So I was on my normal lunch hour ride on the fixie today. Decided I would do my regular loop and the do the loop in reverse to get an extra burn in. So I'm getting to the end of the forward loop and notice a car waiting to turn left onto a side street. Figuring this a good opportunity to turn around myself, I get behind the car and attempt to trackstand behind her in hopes of u-turning as she turns. Well, I end up ****ing up the trackstand and clip my right foot out so as to lean on it but my body and bike decide to lean to the left. I couldn't unclip my left foot and ended up falling over behind the car. This was the pedal that my cleat had gotten stuck in due to a missing bolt from my cleat. I had untensioned the pedal and I guess tensioned it too much after I got my cleat and shoe out. Anyhow, there I am with lying in the middle of the road with 2 little girls laughing at me from their front yard. After I picked myself up, I took the side street and kinda laughed at myself before I ventured on back to work. Have a great and safe weekend everyone!

C'mon, you know it's funny to watch some in SPD's just fall over. And we've all done it. Did you give them a bow when you got up?

Maybe you should stick to a safer ride like the tryc in your icon.
