What levers are good for a 26.0 diameter bar? I've been looking for brakes but none seem to say what the clamp diameter is... does it make a difference, or will any odd brake work? Thanks

What kind of bars and where do you generally keep your hands?

Flat bars... where do I keep my hands on them, uhh... I guess just in a normal place for them.

For flat bars just get either a BMX or MTB brake lever.

Alright then, thanks :thumb:
I just picked up a set of tektro cross levers for $15 on CL. Haven't tried them yet, I still need a bar with a 26mm clamp diameter. What bars are you running?

noob
mtb levers don't work on 26mm bars, only cross levers do
edit: unless 26 is the clamp size

Flat bars are generally 25.4, not 26.0.

It's true, but the guy who I bought them from used a micrometer to see weather they would clamp past 25.4 and they did. Went down to like 24mm if I remember correctly. You could always use a shim if they don't.
