Ok so I have a Chrome Citizen bag and its beige with a black stripe. I was wondering if its possible to dye the beige part? If so with what? Thanks!

I've also considered doing this. RIT dye would probably work well. Let me know how it comes out, heh.

I dyed a t-shirt that got hit with bleach. I first bleached it so it was beige, and then i used a big pot of boiling water, some salt and a little dye puck I got at the fabric store. Let it boil for about 10 mins, rinsed, and it came out amazing. I imagine doing the same to a bag would be very easy.

Chrome doesn't take dye very well. You're better off polishing it, or stripping & powdercoating.

Did you even read the thread, or is this sarcastic?

Lawls.

Any thoughts on washing a Chrome bag? I'm assuming tossing it in the wash will destroy the rubber parts, and I dont really want to waste time hand-scrubbing the thing with an inferior cleaner. Also, mine is safety orange, and I'd like to keep it bright....

for cleaning, the best product to use is simply green. Gets lots of dirt and grime. Just hose 'er down and leave it out to dry.

and no, dye won't do ****. You can't even bleach balistic nylon.
I dipped an entire timbuk 2 in bleach, and it barely did anything to it. The logo turned white though. :P
