NHRA will be here in a few weeks as well and I can't wait. Maybe I am odd man out what with being a cyclist and a car nut. I am specifically a Drag Race nut especially when it comes to fast street cars. I had the nod from the wife to build a new car this summer before the economy crashed:(. I probably spend more times on car forums than I do here...

Got to get into the pit are next to the car as a part of a hospitality thing last year. It was cool and a study of lean to watch them tear apart everything in between runs.
