Also wondering if any of you have hit that invisible wall of speed drag. :speedy:
the one you hit after you have unlocked the max speed setting, and the one before you hit before the 50km safety break
so by factory default you are maxed at 25km/h
after you unlock that you can go as fast as you want but only if you go on a long steady phase
it wont let you say jump from say 3km to 49km no matter how fast you pedal
but if you reach past 50km/h speeds you will see the Regen (G) kicking in automatically to slow you back down to 49Km/h
when i first saw that happen i was like :eek::twitchy: WTF!!! in my head, but then after repeated same results i noticed it is a new safety net they put in place, probably knowing every one will unlock the 3773 25km/h limit.
the 50km/h limit doesn't really bug me as much, there are not enough stretch of roads in my commute to reach that speed often.
however it does annoy me not being able to quickly ramp up from say 10 km/h to 40 km/h due the speed drag, most time by the moment i reach those higher speed, i'm already at the next stop sign or red light, so it becomes like a wasted effort.
no problems with starting up, BionX gives an amazing torque on starting up from 3km you can quickly jump to 30km no problem, is just the gap between 30km to 49km that seems weird. :notamused:
