the red=not as good as last year's green.
Why don't you just contact Marinoni? They'll give you much better info than anyone here can.

the steel fork on the '09 pista can only be described as fugly. seriously. do yourself a favour and buy the frame and a separate fork.

With Mercier most people's first guess wouldn't be a mail order warehouse in the states either, but it is what it is.
Both are respected builders that have always been located up here at any rate.

That does often confound people, but Canada has a rich cycling history - especially Quebec, where I believe both companies reside. A handful of our Walmart brand bikes used to be high end manufacturers, too.
there is a pista in a local shop up here with full miche + pistard wheelset. so sexy.
the fork does kinda suck tho.

That isn't the Pista, but the Strada. The Pista & Pista Crono still have CF forks.

Cervelo is based out of Toronto. Marinoni is just outside of Montreal. We also have Guru, which is a high-end manufacturer.
There are even more custom builders in and around the area. Guelph has two builders that will do track bikes, Winterborne and True North.

Steelwool is up here too and their frames are incredibly nice.
