I dropped my PDA in the pool last night. I have to have some sort of organizer in my life. My PDA was a couple of years old. I really like the note taking feature so I dont have to carry a notebook with me. I have a rumor cell phone x sprint so it cant organize my life. IS the PDA still the best technology? Any other suggestions?

got a blackberry this spring and love it. its got notes.

cant really speak for the calendar- I use Google's Calendar and Google Sync (sends it to my phone) so I dont think I have ever made an entry via the phone.

ended up going with the blackberry pretty much specifically because its an industry leader and I didn't want to take any more time shopping around for features. ;) plus, it cost 1/3 or more less than anything the competition was trying to sell.

I think I still have an old Palm Pilot M500 around somewhere. If you want it and if I can find it, you can have it.

I've got an HTC Fuze PDA phone.
I have it sync'd with my desktop for updates on my calendar events, I have 3 separate email accounts I check with it, there's a free app that updates my Google calendar with Outlook, I use Jott for voice-to-text notes and appointments directly to my calendars, and with Pocket Streets and a GPS it's a decent navigation system, too.
