I was staying with my Sister last week (for a Laura Pausini concert & Hamm Reptile Fair).
I had the chance to try 4 different folders:
1. My Sister’s copy of an “A” bike... that was truly awful, didn’t even leave the parking area.:(
2. My Sister’s Dahon D3... once I had adjusted the seat and bars I found it to be rather good. A bearded, Khaki clad, 40 something guy riding fast on a PINK bike drew a lot of attention from the youths stood at the bus stop.... I stopped near them and explained to my Sister how to adjust the riding position so it is more effective..... didn’t want those kids thinking it was MY bike :o:rolleyes::eek:
Went to a very large bike store where you can test ride the bikes on the 1st floor.

3. Tried a Gocycle http://www.fahrrad-xxl.de/produkt/fahrraeder/faltraeder/gocycle-faltrad I thought that this was rather good, easy to ride and nimble. Interesting single sided fork and swing-arm... nice bike:thumb:
4. Riese und Müller Birdy.http://www.fahrrad-xxl.de/produkt/fahrraeder/faltraeder/riese-birdy-city-premium I rode a Birdy Speed last year and it was very good. This time the bike felt strange (could be that I’m more used to my Brompton now), slow and sluggish steering... maybe the tyres need more air? Whatever, I didn’t like it.:(
I also went out with my Brother-in-law on his spare mountain bike around the forests, had a really enjoyable time.:D
