Ok I haven't done too much to my bike but thought I would show it off. Its my precious *LOL*

It has bontrager gel inserts and gel/cork tape on the handlebars (finished installing it last night), a specialized avatar gel 155 saddle, now a rear shimano R500 wheel with the original ALX200 front wheel. Devices you can see on bike are from Sigma 1606 Wireless comp with cadence, and hard toe clips for the standard pedals (locking comes later when I have funds)

sweet ride, I am curious about the saddle. Have you put many miles on it? I have always heard that gel saddles tend to get less comfortable on longer rides.

I am only asking because I have recently been on the hunt for a nice comfy saddle for long rides and have been avoiding gel because of what I read on many different threads.

Ryanwood compared to the stock sadle I had (Selle San marco) it is great. I have been having the trapped perineal nerve issue as well as getting sore on longer rides (on a 50 mile ride with the san marco I had to get off the bike for a rest solely based on my ass hurting *LOL*). The Avatar just went through a metric century yesterday and I had no numbness issues down below (longest before I could handle was 30). I was a little sore after the 60 odd miles but I didnt have to get off soley for the saddle pain. So far I cant really say how it handles otherwise as I have only put 90 miles on it.
