I think it was about a month ago, but someone posted an awesome website for a group of peope in NYC that did crazy street rides. There was one of them riding in rush hour traffic and barely getting through it. I can't find the site anymore and I would love to show my friends. If anyone can be of any help that would be awesome! thanks a lot in advance

There are a few groups but they are a business and have liability insurance. They make you wear helmets, etc. Are you talking about freeriding/urban or road?
I know a lot of the street riders in Manhattan as I am one myself. I am always out in rush hour traffic and other day traffic is just as fun. Lexington ave is the best rush by far.
Anyway, I'm not sure of the website but let me know if you see it. I know the Brooklyn Machine Works guys always ride (I have one of their bikes which was custom made).

The second post has a link that has downtown NYC videos on it. Was that it?

That's probably it. I do that everyday and that video is on the money. They started at the fountain in Central Park and rode right by my house down Broadway, through Times Square. I love going down a one way (any avenue) and buzzing those that don't look the other way before crossing. They came close to cars and busses but the camera makes them look closer than they are.
Good video.
