Hi,
New here.
I just bought a new saddle for my bicycle, and I have to tell you all that having that slit or hole in the middle has made all the difference in comfort for me. It's relieved a lot of pressure on 'you know where.'
Anyway, I have to admit I was pretty clueless about buying replacement seats until I read a great article on what to look for. It addressed the pros and cons of ;)material, shape, etc.
I'll share it here, if that's kosher: http://www.bikepartsplace.com/articles/bike-seats-how-to-choose-what-is-right-for-me/#more-3
This site, bikepartsplace.com, has a lot of interesting articles and information for bicyclists. Thanks for welcoming me.;)

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
