So, we have our rider numbers now, but I am still in crummy shape. What are you guys/gals riding to get ready? I just put this one (http://www.mapmyride.com/ride/united-states/co/-denver/770124424598972812) together for tomorrow. It will be my longest ride this year if I complete it. I am looking forward to linking Deer Creek with Lookout Mt.

I am doing my commutes like normal until my office is shut down. Once I am working at my home office it will be 25-30 mile morning rides done at a blistering pace.
On the weekends I pick randomly entertaining routes like flagstaff, GGC, etc.
I also have a 120 mile ride with my club late this month with 12K feet of climbing. It starts in littleton and visits such places as lookout, red rocks, brook forest, etc.
All in all I am not training for it per say. It really is not that difficult of a ride. IMHO
Lots of fun with friends.

I did the 80 mile version last year and it was painful. This is the ride where my garmin % grade briefly hit 32.

WOw that sounds great. I just semi-committed to something else that same day... Grrrrrrr. maybe I'll blow off that other thing.

Especially with good company.
Unfortunately I will see Jeff, Mike, and James for like 10 min and then will solo the remaining 110 miles. :p

After today's ride, I am not so concerned. I ended up changing the route and did 80 miles with 8,888' of climbing. My legs are fine, but my backside is not so fine. I need to work more on the long days in the saddle.

DataJunkie, how long do you take to do the Triple? I am sure I can finish it, but if it takes me more than 10 hours, I am going to be in pain from time on the bike.

9hrs or so of riding time. 15 hrs start to finish.

Wow, lots of hanging out, or are the rest areas slow because of crowds?

A slow cohort. It was like 6 rides rolled into one. Warming up and cooling down that many times was interesting.
