My friend was moving and gave me a Royal Gran Compe 500 caliper. Only problem is he took it apart for some reason (he doesn't really know his way around bikes). Does anyone know the order of the washers? I have this from front to back (ie. looking down at it): cap with 4mm allen key, threaded locknut with wrench flats, spacer of the same size, left 'arm,' spacer the size of the cap and locknut, right arm, thick spacer smaller than the others, spring thing (what do you call it?), serrated spacer. I have two left: one thats about a mm and another thats maybe 3. Where do these go?
Sorry if its a dumb question, just want to get it right.

Looking at my Royal Compe calipers, starting from spring slot on the bolt you should have a thin washer to cover the spring and slot, followed by the inner arm, than another thin washer, the outer arm, another washer, the locknut and finally the cap.
The star washer goes behind the block on the bolt, between the caliper and the frame.

Ah, perfect. Thanks so much. I was looking for a good picture online but couldn't come up with anything half as good as this.
