I'm looking at the Haro Extreme X3. I've tested it out and I like the suspension and the overall feel. What do you guys think about this bike?

Good Choice, Haro makes a solid bike, well spec'd, and a proven (copied) design.

You can't go wrong!

Haros are nice, I recently just sold one of those. If your looking in that price range, maybe consider a used bike? You can get sick deals on like 02 and 03 Specialized Enduros which would suit you well or maybe even a big hit. I saw a nice BigHit for 800 with some nice shiz on it.

Either way you can't go wrong, but after a bit of riding, you may want something "more" than the Haro in which case you might want a new bike. Haros are nice, but there is def a good used market out there.

I hate to say this...but the Haro is probably a better bike than the bighit you saw. The bighit you saw was probably (I could definately be wrong but the price is right) a 2003 bighit single pivot. Good entry level bike. The haro is actually pretty beefy in comparison...

Check out www.wheelworld.com for some great deals on left over models all the way back to 2002. I saw a nice BigHit for $1200! Some nice Kona's too!
