Lets not get into the whole "Its a lousy chinese bike" dicussion...;)
I just want to know if anyone have bought bicycles from them? Did you get your bicycle, was everything about the buy as it should be?
Its 3000 kr. (576 $) cheaper than buying the same bike in a DK shop, but they want the money by a transfer to their account (don't know the English term for that) instead of paying per CC. Doesn't really make me feel like trusting them........

I find it hard to believe any 'real' company would do business like that. I wouldn't work with someone like that. I used to go to craft shows with my work and I accepted credit cards so it isn't difficult to set up.

Payment by wire transfer is very common in Europe and shouldn't be a red flag off the bat.
I heard there was a parade led by 2,000 blond women in Riga.
They were there to make everybody feel better?
Pics Ziemas..please,please,please.:)

Jaa, last week or the week before. It was all blond and pink.....:)
Thanks Ziemas. I had to ask in case I ever have to use my Big dummy as a parade float:)

I have done it a few times before, but to businesses/people I trusted. Because if you don't get the stuff you ordered/something is broken etc. you really don't have any way of claiming your money back. Or am I wrong?

Oh, I do think that you are correct. Perhaps a Dutch or German site would be able to tell you more about the company.

Seems lots of Dutch people have bought there, but at their IRL shop (I understand German, English and Danish so combined I almost understand Dutch...wierd mishmash of a language...). Some are satisfied, some are not. My concern is that I have no way of getting my money back, if I don't get my bicycle/it's broken upon arrival. Well....maybe I should just buy from the Dansih company.

Why don't you call them and talk to them?

They write on their hompage that you can't call them, only send emails. You know what, they just seem too shady, I will not buy from them.

I wouldn't buy from someone I couldn't call either.

OT, but here is link to photos from the blond parade http://www.spiegel.de/fotostrecke/fotostrecke-42976.html#backToArticle=627912
The first picture of the giant women there is a bike loaded down with decorations
in the back ground. The rest of the pictures were the totally blond thing right down
to the little dogs.Guess the bikes would have been too much of a risk'
Thanks Squirtdad.:)

The Latvian Blondes Association, which organized the events, hoped to use any proceeds from the weekend's activities toward a playground for handicapped children.
Damn. I'm going to be handicapped after looking at those pics...

I've heard in effect that they're expensive junk, but don't take my word for it.
Henry @ Workcycles said about Tricycleweb AKA bakfietsweb.nl:
'....To keep it short: Don’t do it. Its one of the worst bicycles I’ve ever seen. The Bakfietsweb bikes are not €1600 bikes for €500, they’re €79 bikes for €500....'
http://measured-response.com/bakfiets/?p=8
Tricycleweb sell http://www.bakfietsweb.nl/ products, which seems to be trading on the well respected, but entirely unrelated bakfiets.nl. Bakfiets.nl have already taken legal action against a company selling a copy of their bakfiets.nl cargo bicycle.
It would seem that this outfit shouldn't get any good publicity. People are buying these and if the reports are correct, they're finding-out they have wasted their money. Henry @ Workcycles seems to think they're rubbish.
Sadly without credit card protection it appears buyers are screwed.
A cynic migh assume, they can't trade with the credit-card companies, because of 'problems'? If what has been said about them and their products proves true, one could imagine that so many claimed against the CC companies, they withdrew their facility.
