I have a '98 Santana Arriva tandem that came with Aerospoke wheels. I bought the bike used. I have ridden it several times now and seem to notice a not-so-slight vibration in the wheels, especially at speed (about 20 mph). It seems to coincide with the gaps between the four blades (spokes)- although at speed this is very hard to tell obviously. Has anyone else experienced vibration with Aerospokes? Just wondering.

Scott (SDS) wanted to know how many spokes because the tandem-rated Aerospoke model has 5 spokes, not 4. http://www.aerospoke.com/index.php?id=398

If it has 4 spokes it's not designed for the weight that a tandem carries and that may well be the source of the flexing/vibration.

Actually, it has five blades (not really spokes in the traditional sense but serve the same purpose).
