This sport can be addictive!
I completed my 1st Tri last weekend -- the Power Sprint Triathlon. It was a 300m pool swim, 12 mi bike, 5K run -- an easy course for a 1st timer. By most standards, my performance sucked --- especially the run. I'm sure some folks were snickering as I plodded on by. Fair enough. The goal was to finish -- I did it!! Not too bad for an out of shape, overweight, 50 year old.
I'm planning on doing the Sandman Triathlon in Sept. The Sandman is a 1K ocean swim, 14 mi bike and 5K run. The swim is considerably longer and more difficult than the Power Sprint. Time to get serious about training!!!
Are there any good sites with tips/hints for the OWS ??
Thanks in advance.
