Hi guys,

I was wondering if its ok to climb over the sidewalk with a road bike.
You know, aproach, lift the front wheel over the step, them roll with the back wheel.

What do you think?

If done carelessly and at rather high speed, I can see how it *might* be able to cause rim damage, but assuming a reasonable set of circumstance and assuming that you aren't running your tires at 30psi, methinks you're alright.

You'll be fine. If you're clipped in, you'll probably lift the entire front and rear wheel off the ground.
