No, there will be no picks.
The issue is I a bit large for Costa Rica, so it is hard to find clothes, shoes, etc. So, what I was wondering, oh wise shoppers, if you were looking for jeans and comfortable clothes for jungle wear, what on-line store would you shop at?
I figure I will just order a new wardrobe and have it sent here.

Army surplus.
I would prefer to not look like I was invading Costa Rica, given they have no army, they might get nervous...

Oddly enough, I found some really good deals on clothes at http://www.happychefuniforms.com/
Seeing as they're generally work clothes meant to be worn in busy restaurant kitchens, they might do for your jungle adventures.
And they have an outlet store right across the street from me... right next to the microbrewery. ;)

I actually like the stuff from REI. Patagonia, North Face, etc. Is there a price point you are looking at?

Really, all I need is what people would hike in, but in cotton. Since we are never cold, cotton doesn't kill.

Most of what they have is 100% cotton or a poly/cotton blend.
They even have these (http://www.happychefuniforms.com/800-347-0288/order.cfm?ProductID=5240&), which have mesh inserts behind the knees to help keep you cool.
I want to get a couple pairs of these (http://www.happychefuniforms.com/800-347-0288/order.cfm?ProductID=342&) and these (http://www.happychefuniforms.com/800-347-0288/order.cfm?ProductID=189&), which are 100% cotton and I don't usually wear shorts...
And their prices are insanely low.

Try Sears they have a website, and they carry levis and a few other brands. They will ship (at least in the US....CR I dunno).

Not really, I can buy just about anything I want, but I don't tend to spend for something that is not worth it.
Usually, jeans. We have a lot of barbwire fence, and I tend to find it.

Shipping is no problem. I just send it to a forwarder.

Despite the fact the fixie crowd has latched onto the irony, Carhartt (http://www.carhartt.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/HomeView?storeId=10051&catalogId=10101) makes some decent work clothes that hold up well. I have some of their heavy Winter gear and it lasts for many years. They have shorts and jeans too. Not sure where you can order it, but you can check out the styles.

When I was in Panama I met an older retired guy from California who lived in Costa Rica with a PSYCHOTIC much younger girlfriend. Very weird those two were.

Because I don't need them or you think they make them here?
You know, I really should take a drive up to Managua, Nicaragua. They make lots of clothes in Nicaragua! Buy directly from the source...

Damn straight!
The only reason I've ever had to get rid of Carhartt clothing is that it gets to a point where it actually looks too dirty and beat up to take to a construction or demolition job. I've never, ever worn out anything by Carhartt, and I am not nice to almost anything I own, least of all working gear.

I've seen Carhartt stuff get worn out, but it doesn't happen easily or often. A lot of my friends who work on farms here absolutely love their stuff because it usually lasts forever.
Try Canada's Mountain Equipment Co-op at mec.ca - they have cotton as well as high tech materials.

RailRiders (http://www.railriders.com/)
I'm fond of http://www.sierratradingpost.com/ They usually have some great % off coupons floating around too. I've found it's much cheaper to have packages sent to someone in the States, repackaged getting rid of all the excess paper and such, and forwarded to me.
Second vote for Sierra Trading Post. Lots of deals on all sorts of name brands, selection is huge and changing all the time, great customer service, mostly closeouts and seconds, they tell you which, and I've almost never had a problem with quality even on the seconds, if you do they will exchange or refund at any time.

+1 on Wordbiker's suggestion for Carhartt. You can beat the snot out of their stuff and all it does is break it in more comfortably.
I used to wear Carhartt coveralls when I did a lot of large grit sandblasting. Even catching all the sandblaster ricochet didn't phase those things.

Carhartt are great but heavy and hot. I used to wear them when doing wetlands work in Pennsylvania. You can walk right through pricker bushes in those things.

I thought Costa Rica was a clothing optional island? I guess I have no reason to go there for vacation some day now.
Not clothes related but I was down there in San Jose a couple weeks ago and went running in some park (I remember seeing the Nissan dealership next to the park). What are those trees with the orange and green bark? Very cool looking.

Yes, but don't tell my mom. She thinks I play piano in a house of ill repute.
