Hi,
I'm in Michigan for 3 months and naively thought I'd be able to find a cheap road bike (In France I could easily find a good vintage bike for 50$ or so) but I found prices here are crazy. Whatever, I found this raleigh technium 440 for 250$ (the guy previously posted the same ad except he sold the whole bike for 250$) : http://lansing.craigslist.org/bik/1209806856.html
I offered this guy 125$ but his answer was a little bit ironical : "find a bike this quality for 150$ and I buy it, so you'll make 25$ profits".
Well, what do you think about that ?
