I have a used cateye strada cadence computer only. I can't figure out whats wrong with the sensors so It would require a new sensor/wiring that can be ordered from cateye and you'll be good to go.
The computer works fine as I tested it on another bike with the same setup.

$25 for the computer itself plus the mounting bracket for the computer and magnets. I'll include the sensors also if you think you can fix it.

I've already got one. You should know that the sensors are very sensitive to distance, so make sure that the magnets pass close to them. I found the speed/distance magnet (lil' plastic one) to be worthless, and replaced it with a "regular", screw-tightened, spoke magnet.

Also, find the position along the length of the sensor which best reacts to the passing magnet.

Don't give up!

I took the whole system off the bike and played with the sensors/magnets. I couldn't get any type of reading. I did it the same test with another strada I have and was able to get some readings. So there's something wrong with the wiring harness but the computer does work. Maybe i'll just take it apart and try to fix the wiring harness.
