I was thinking about this bike I found on craigslist but have never heard of it. anybody have any thoughts? I don't have much more than $450 to spend on cycling unfortunately =\

my first thought is that tubulars are going to slay your pocketbook.

Looks like quite a nice frame. But I couldn't make out whether it had track dropouts or not. Also, it could be that the wheels are on road not track hubs. If they were track hubs, you could probably see $150 out of them on ebay. Tubulars don't have to be too expensive though. Get Panaracer TG tubs for $40 each and you'll be set, or get really cheap ones and replace as necessary...

seems like a nice frame... probably handbuilt. i googled "henry burton" and a page came up with a henry burton touring frame from 1958, so they've certainly been around. they have a website, but it's currently "under construction"

i'd say it's at least worth a look in person
