I'm thinking of selling my early Ritchie. By serial number late 1981, purchased in 1982, I think. !8 inch in blue with black bull moose bars. New paint, old decals. Complete except missing a clamp for the right shifter. I'm not sure about the rear derailleur originality. I'll post photos tomorrow.

yeah, pix please. It could be somebody's holy grail, and the market has to heat up for these someday...but right now I don't think there's huge demand. Unless that grail-seeker happens by and has the cash.;)
and it's either a *Ritchey* or you have a Richard Sachs road bike

Yeah, photos are a good thing... don't let it go too quickly unless you have no alternative... I know Tom personally. I have a 79' 19" criterium road bike that is fillet brazed that he gave me when I was 15 years old. It is in storage, but I will try and post some photos as well... I also have an 85' 16" Timber Wolf and a 95' 17" Crazy Pete.
This website may help you: www.oldmountainbikes.com - Your serial number might be listed there in the bike list. Tom's serial numbers don't follow a logical order over the decades...
