Hi guys.
I haven't posted here,
usually on the c&v section
(have an addiction to prewar shelby cruisers and 70's campy bikes!)
Anyway I just found a great deal on this tandem, and i'd thought it would be good to share.
I've always wanted a road tandem,
had alot of fun miles on the HD schwinn twinns,
but were kinda limiting in weight and gearing.
So here's a 90's RODRIGUEZ trillium sport...
we're the 3rd owner(s)
the other 2 couples were older, very light mileage users.
I think this 40lb bike will like us we'll really put it to the test,
hopefully wear out the old suntour xc ex components,
although they really shift clean and smooth. (i love bar-end shifters!)
I was surprised at the 48 spoke "sansin" hubs,
heard of the 40 spoke but these have 48 front and back, on a wide flange hub, really cool. (w700/38 tires)
They seem fitting with the front and rear racks,
now i'd really like some pack bags to go along.
The only bummer is the seats and handlebar tape need swapping,
but that is expected on a used bike anyway.
I'll get some clearer pics real quick.
Hopefully a shot of it on the road too.
talk to y'all soon
