having a flatland specific frame will help ALOT. I used to ride flatland on a hoffman sugarbaby, but it wasnt something I was dedicated to... Otherwise it shouldnt keep you from progressing, as long as you practice practice practice....and remember, it can takes weeks of trying for an hour a day on a specific trick to get it down so don't get discouraged.....in flatland it is very easy to get down on yourself because progression is sooooo sllooowwww...
good luck

well thx 4 nothing
Small profile handlebars, front sprocket, and seat will help alot. You are not going fast doing flatland so you do not need a 42 or 44Tsprocket. Since the bike spins, and moves around alot, and you need to be able to float around, a DJ seat is unnecesary. Likewise with the bars. Also like PGX3 said practice, practice, practice.
