-------FRAME SOLD--------

I have an 87 Schwinn Circuit. 61 CM (24 inches) center to top.

From the 87 catalog, the frame is Columbus SL double butted Chromoly, with SP on the down tube for this larger frame. 73 degree head angle, 74 degree seat angle. Wheelbase of 39.5 inches. The dropouts are forged, and it has Tange Aero seat stays. The fork is a Tange Aero with sloping crown and forged dropouts. The fork appears to be painted over chrome. The headset is Stronglight.

The paint on the frame is ugly, but appears to be solid. There are a few scratches that have some light surface rust. I don't think there is any serious rust. The bike was sold in arizona (Landis Schwinn) and may have spent is whole life here--hence low rust. No dents that I see. It appears that it has some paint splatter on the underside of down tube. I have no idea what it was from. Mostly, the frame just looks ugly.

I have a strong preference for dealing with someone local, as I am a newbie with bikes, and have no experience in shipping such things. If you have an friend here locally that would work as well. I will consider shipping, but you will have to be patient.

I am in Mesa Arizona.

Here is my thread on this bike when I bought it and tried to make it work for me:

Here is the 58cm Circuit frame I referred to above:

Send me a PM if you have any questions.

EDIT AGAIN: I found a new frame. So I no longer am looking for trades. I have now lowered the price to 80 bucks on CL. Still have a preference for local transaction. I doubt it is worth shipping.

All the components have now been removed. See the new pictures below.

I don't think so. The catalog says Suntour Sprint derailleurs. I have looked at pictures, and I think they are Sprint

Can I bump my own thread?

I am have lowered the price again-- to 70 on CL. Would likely take less. Would now be interested in a couple of trades. I am looking for a set of "wing style" triathlon handlebars-- preferably 44cm wide, and a set of aero bars to go with them. And the brakes to go with them.

Also interested in some nicer wheels -- but must have 126mm rear spacing and accept the "screw on" type suntour freewheels. Not sure what thread type that is going to be.

And I have verified that this does have the stronglight headset with needle bearings. But I am not sure on the condition of those bearings.
