any cheap hubs that are spaced 130mm and have 36 holes? does shimano make any? looking to get a touring wheelset built. strong 700c rim recommendations would be good too.

I think Shimano makes most of their hubs in 36 hole configuration. Tiagra and 105 and Ultegra are available, I know for sure.

My favorite rims are Alex DH22, but these are hard to find. Velocity Deep V are a favourite over on the Clydesdale forum, and those folks know something about tough parts. Although quality of build is as important as any other variable.
