Will finally be building up my Alien group buy; looking for a drop bar with some flat tops
for a front brake / occasional upright riding position.
I found the Nitto B105; any other recommendations?
PS: My conversion ride has the Nitto RB-021 bullhorns. Love the feel but want to try
drops on the new ride.

do you use your brake? if so, put the levers where youll mostly be riding. you can cover the bases with hoods and interrupters. also, i like ergonovas.

I like my Salsa M-A Bell Lap. Wide flare, ergo drops, comfy tops and curve to the hoods.
Try going to a couple of bike stores in town and asking what they have. When I wanted a road bar I called around and found a shop selling a bunch of "previously enjoyed" bars for $10 bucks. Nice alu, ergo, like new road bars. Also this question could be better answered on the roadie subforum.

I rock flat tops on all my bikes (2 road and 1 fixed) have tried FSA wings, Eastons and ITM Mantis.
From these the FSA have IMHO the most ergonomic/visually pleasing design and ITM wins in lightness.

I had a pair of 3T Competizione (Merckx bend) before - I found them very uncomfortable.

+1
I have run several different widths on several different bikes and am always fond of the Bell Laps.

I've got a set of used 3T ergo bars I got free from another member, you can have them for the cost of shipping, just be sure if you decide not to use them that you'll give them (not sell them) to someone else that may be able to use them, shoot me a PM. :thumb: (stem NOT included!)
