I was over at the LBS the other day as I am helping my friend shop for a new bike and of course, I have considered a folder for her as it would really suit her recreational riding style and the fact she likes to travel and might want to take her bike with her.
I was looking over the Giant Halfway which seems to be a pretty decent bike and was quite pleased with the test ride I took... it had the same solid feel that my P20's have and really felt very much like a stock 20.
But what interested me most was the brakes used on the Giant as it has Alhonga HJ - 893A brakes.

The front brake stopped the bike really well with some flex but the rear brake, being that it is braced against the rear stays worked amazingly well and felt really solid.
I have to take a few measurements to check the fit but do think that this would be a wonderful replacement for the stock R20 brakes as with a 93 mm reach a drop bolt should not be needed.
