I havent been posting here much lately and have been off the bike for about four weeks do to injuring my lower back on the job. I have been through x-rays, an MRI and now I have to have an Epidural tomorrow of which I am dreading, in fact i'm down right scared. Hopefully though, this will allow me to get back on the bike and lose the weight that I have put back on since i've been laying around the house for four weeks. Wish me luck!!

Luck.....
I've had an epidural, it's not that bad.
Good luck.
My bike actually CURED my lower back pain. I struggled with back pain for a few years before I started riding. None since. Have you tried riding despite your doctors advice?

Right now I can barely stand. Riding a bike is definately out of the question. Hopefully this Epidural will do the trick.

I broke my back in '04 in a motorcycle accident, so I understand your pain. I still have trouble from time to time. Once you can get back on the bike, it will probably help. You may have to modify your riding position some though. I used to get razzed quite a bit about my "upside down" stem, but hey whatever works.
