View Full Version : Have you seen the new Greenspeed GT3 Folding Trike???

Hi,

I was at my "local" recumbent shop over the weekend, and found that it now carries the legendary Greenspeed recumbent trikes from Australia...including the new GT3 trike that folds! It's a snap to remove the seat, and then the rear folds over into the front of the trike, by the cranks...then it'll easily fit into the trunk space of a car like a Honda Accord! :eek: And it's quite a bit less expensive than its big brothers, the GTO and the GTR!

I was wondering if anyone here has test ridden one, or, better yet, owns one...and would be willing to share his/her comments on what it's like to ride! I can't afford one right now, so I sadly refrained from test riding one, because I didn't want to torture myself with the tease... :(

They look like a great trike I'm trying to organise to buy one myself.

Thanks for the link to BROL! I have read the BROL review, but I didn't realize that the trike ridden in the "Mighty 400" article was the GT3--thanks!

And, like you, I'll have to see if I can organize myself to buy one too! I've got a feeling that, once these cool little trikes have been discovered, their prices are going to climb! :eek:

I can't afford 1 either but my wife insists that I put a deposit on 1 on Monday for early/mid July delivery.( they are out of stock at the moment)
So, soon to be trike owner of a blue GT3 with rack, front guards and extra mirror :)

Just do us a favor, and keep us posted on its arrival, and, more importantly, let us know how it is to ride!
