Might pick up a late 80's Guerciotti GPS 7200-Pista. It is a 50cm.

Just wondering how much it's worth/what to offer. Here's what the owner has to say about it:

"Mine is bright red with yellow, bone stock with Suntour Superbe Pro Pista everything (2 sets of wheels - one tubular, one clincher). Cinelli bar/stem, perfect color-coordinated tires. Absolutely showroom perfect in every aspect except the original yellow bar tape is a bit faded now from sitting so long (can't bear to replace it as it is original)."

Not feeling the radial laced rear, but nice looking frame, and expensive track parts. If this bike was what i was into, I would say the frame is about 600-800 and parts about 300-500. So anywhere from $900-$1300.

i for one am feeling the radial laced rear...would i feel comfortable beating on it too much? probably not.

Radial raced rear is bad bad bad, factor a wheel rebuild in unless you want to walk home and then spend money to fix it

That radial wheel will last for one strong acceleration or deceleration. But, it looks awesome.

Original yellow bar tape?! That's got to be 20+ years old...and nasty. Sweat on it once and the fluid might activate some dormant cooties.

Looks like the rear has a cross on the drive side.

^that's what it is, it's really common for older frames to have the non drive side radial laced and the other side 3 cross

That wheel is not radially laced on the drive side, it is fine.

Sounds like a great bike. You'd better bring cash and buy it soon if you want a deal. I'd guess this bike would easily fetch $1200+ on Ebay. The only limiting factor is the frame size.

If you had to build and buy this up as parts in mint condition, you'd be looking at well above $1200 given the current prices of vintage track frames/parts. I say this because I've been trying to do this for six months and finally gave up and built up a vintage Italian road frame as a FG. It still cost me about $1500 with excellent condition early 80's Campy parts.

Plus you're getting an extra set of wheels.
