Hi,
I have a 2004 Dahon Speed TR which has done me well for a number of tours. Early on I used panniers and a handle bar bag, but recently have purchased a Samsonite Flite and the BF trailer for the most recent trips.
The Dahon packs into the case wihout problem but there is little room to spare and the total package is quite heavy.
Being a bit slow!, it has only recently occurred to me that perhaps I dont need the strength/robustness of the Speed TR if 25-30% of the load will now be in the trailer.
So I am interested in your opinions on which bike would be a good upgrade - something lighter/smaller but still capable of handling a loaded trailer over the length of a tour. A new Dahon or BF Tikit?
thanks
