I am writing this for my fiance'. He has been working for days trying to figure out what is wrong with his dirt bike. If he doesn't get it fixed he will be nuts and I won't hear the end of it. Is there any suggestions what he might check or look for??
Thanks,
Barbi

Thank you for the direction, but did you have to insult me too. Just so you know I run 5ks and so does my fiance, but dirt bikes are fun too! Thanks though for the hint to place my question.

Well you put it in foo so I have no problem with it. My bet would be bad detent spring. This is if you are lucky. You can do the spring without splitting the cases. It might be a bent shift fork. Then you will need to pull the motor and split the cases.
Reverand Chuck you're my hero! Can you rebuild the carbs on my CBR for me?

Sure. Pm me and I will give you my mailing address. I will also do K&N stage kits if you can get one :)

Can you also modify the cylider head on my Ducati? It just is not enough power for driving in Montreal.

Pessi, what model?
Open your intake and exhaust first, you will need to rejet your carbs or alter the fuel map if you have fuel injection.(They often run a little better if you richen the idle circuit a little even if you don't do any intake/exhaust mods.
If you just want a little extra around town oomph on the cheap, drop a tooth on the front sprocket.
