If I upgrade the hydros will my Shimano shifters find a home onto the Hydro brake lever?

I'm looking at Hayes HFX-9's

Are the integrated shifter/brake?

Is not then yes shifters don't matter in relation to the brakes.

The shifter and the brake is a package deal. Do I have to get a shifter that mounts seperatly in order to use that included hydrobrake lever?

I would get a shifter that is seperate.

You will have to buy seperate shifters. There isn't room on the bar for both.
