Road Cycling - Looking for a helmet for wifey

Hi,
my wife is 5' 2", and has a somewhat narrow head.
She has had it with her Bell, we tried a couple of Giros
but they weren't much better. I was hoping someone might have a suggestion for a small, narrow head. Thanks!

if the smallest sizes of giro and bell (is it small of extra small?) are too big, then maybe a large child/youth helmet might work. good luck! helmets are important!

My wife has a rather small head also, and found that the Limar F10x series fit perfect, but still left room to expand for "winter wear"

My wife was looking for helmets and the only brand she found that fit her properly (Bell, Giro, Louis Garneau were all too 'wide') was Catlike. They're not cheap helmets but they do fit well.

I also have a small head and Giro and Bell didn't do it for me. I now have a Trek "Vapor" , size small, ( 52-56 cm ) that fits very well.
I think Limar helmets are a good fit for folks with narrow heads.

If my husband called me "wifey," I think I would have to kill him!
Try a youth helmet.
Hi,
We have been married a very long time. Wifey is the least of it.
Thanks to all, I had forgotten about the thread. She settled on the Trek Interval WSD. Except for the price, I think she liked the Giro Pneumo better. But it's a fine helmet, what you get from the Giro
for the extra bucks is more vents, better style, and perhaps slightly better comfort. In any case, thanks.

Hi,
Wifey is the least of it.
Women are such patient souls!
Glad you were able to find a helmet that worked and was styly.
Cheers!

Interesting about the Trek choice. I have a rather narrow (but not small) head. My current helmet is an '04 Bell with the "universal size" thingy, which actually fits pretty well. Up until that one came along, though, I found that all of the Bells (and most of the Giros, even) just didn't fit my long-skinny melon. Same went for my wife. We just found that Trek helmets fit our narrow heads best. The newest fit systems on the cheaper Bells and Giros has changed all that, though. I also have a two-year-old Garneau that fits better than the old Bells for sure, but not as well as the old Treks or the newest Bell.
