I found this listing this morning. I spoke with the guy and he's the original owner. The bike came with Campagnola cranks, Suntour hubs to Weinmann rims. Stem, bars and saddle are not original. Forgot to ask if he still has them. Tires are good. It has front and rear brakes, SS freewheel and fixed cog. Wheels are true.
He says the paint is really good with no dents or dings.
I couldn't find any completed ebay sales, just a repaint on there now that hasn't sold for $565.

I might not ride it but I know some people that would. Seems good to me. Opinions? Thanks.

Popular size, original paint, and condition looks good from what I can tell... However, look at that stem! It's super high and maybe past the max. I'd check for any damage.

$400 for a nice track bike with original paint isn't a horrible deal in your area, but I would try to talk him down.

When I read the title I guessed higher than that. Compared to the 2 SS conversion w/ brakes I recently the madison @ $400 is an OK deal.

It would cost ~$150 to build that back wheel!!!

Its CL.....talk him down.

I didn't get to see the bike. A buyer went to see a Paramount tandem the seller had and ended up buying that, the Madison, a Legnano and other stuff for sale.

I asked the seller if he did a lot of CL activity. He said it was his first time. I am sure when the buyer said, " just let me buy all of your tasty bicycles at once", the seller couldn't say no.
At least the seller called me before I made the drive. That was cool considering how some CL people behave.

Oh well, I will keep looking. That's part of the fun.

If it's his first time on CL I sure hope he got cash for all those bikes. Must have been a tidy sum!
