Texas - Newbie Female Rider In Dallas

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hey! I am newbie to the biker community. I am only 22 and i just bought a 2009 Ninja 250R. I love it. It is a great little starter bike. I am excited. I am hoping to meet some new people to meet up and ride with. The only person i really know that rides in my dad. And who wants to ride with their dad all the time. Well shoot me a email if you want.
Be Safe!

Congrats on the the baby Ninja. They are great bikes. I ride a DR650 when I am not on a bicycle.
The other folks are gently hinting that this is a bicycle forum not a motorcycle forum. You'll want to check out Two Wheel Texans at www.twtex.com for your Texas motorcycling forum fun.

In motorcycling circles there is a famous and brave young lady who posted details and pics of her extensive skin grafts (http://www.getyourownbike.com/BrittanyMorrow.htm), proving that bikinis and motorcycles do not mix. Even stationary bikes, as many pillions with calf burn scars can attest.
It is one of the most famous advertisements for ATGATT (all the gear, all the time).
I myself am a recovering 900R Ninja rider. (not recovering from a crash, just the addiction, although I lost the tip of my trigger finger in an accident on it).

Check the CMRA website (central motorcycle roadracing association)
They have events up in Ft Worth among other places. It's a great family environment, and you don't have to race to have fun. You can also get into track days and meet great folks.
(and they have a Ninja250 class too so you can see what your bike is capable of)
Good folks... and why not get a bicycle and come ride with the rest of us, too
