Northern California - I won a shopping party at Sports Basement

I've only been to the Sunnyvale Sports Basement a couple times. I bought a long sleeved jersey and a windbreaker there last winter and I barely remember writing my contact info on a little piece of paper to be entered into a drawing to win a "Shopping Party." Well after all these months I finally won!

What's a Shopping Party? Basically it's a 2 hour window where I can invite up to 200 people(!). During this time the store provides food and drinks to all who attend and everyone gets a 20% discount on anything in the store. Seems like a pretty sweet deal and sheer genius from a marketing perspective :rolleyes:

So when is this happening? It will be next Friday, June 19, from 6pm to 8pm. They need a rough headcount to know how much food to bring and so I created an evite. If you think you'll make it, please send me a PM with your email address and I will add you.

im from the valley and i only do my shopping at sports basement on bryant street. so much freaking stuff at very nice prices. im there so often some of the workers know me

probably going to get: 12-27 cassette, some good energy drink powder stuff, a jersey.

my wish list: snowboarding avalanche beacon, Garmin GPS (handheld), backcountry snowboarding pack.

This all depends on if I get the two checks I am supposed to be getting tomorrow.
