The only place I know of that has video analysis type bike fits is Bike Source which runs $175ish. Anybody have any experience with them or can recommend someone else?

I haven't heard much about the Bike Source fit, but I know there are Retul studios in the Springs (Carmichael) and in Boulder. I think their worth checking out, pricey though. If you do get the fit please share your experience as I and probably others too would appreciate it.

I used Wheatridge Cyclery and had a very good experience. I think it was $125.

Shawn Brooks in Ft. Collins at http://www.thecycologist.com/ is Fit Kit certified and Serrotta certified. When I was in CO and used one of his demo bikes he had my fit down perfectly. I highly reccomend the store and the fitting services.

I've tried/done 'em all over the years.... Most recently did Retul at Boulder CycleSport; before that did a fit with Chris at Pro Peleton (who is the president of the cycle fitting association, and a really good person), before that did a fitting with Dr. Andy Pruitt (who of course, everyone thinks (and he may well be) a guru.

Honestly, they all got to pretty much the same conclusions ... tho the Retul fit was the best of the bunch for me, personally, and the process is so verrrry cool.

Hi all,

I know I'm reviving an old thread, but I'm in Colo Springs for a few weeks and wondered if anyone had recommendations of places that do fittings.

Thanks!:thumb:

John Wierath of The Bicycle Studio in Grand Junction does Retul and physical therapy. I know several local folks who have gone to him with great results. He also sets up custom frame orders (mostly Seven).

I just had a fit done by him recently, and so far I've been ecstatic. The day after the fit, on our usual group ride, I felt like I was on a completely different bike. I went into the fit thinking it would be somewhat minor change, but in the end it was a 100% difference.

Money well spent.
