My new http://BikeFitness.net site is patterned a little after Bike Forums but aimed at everyday, average users... some clydes, some up there in years, some round-the-blockers just starting out, others hoping to do their first long distance event. We're based in Michigan and have set up forums, a blog, videos and an image gallery to share bike and ride photos.
AT first, our users were mostly local but we've now branched out to as far away as Australia.
I require registration (to keep the spammers away) and in hopes of jump-starting ehose who are part of the forums, will give away a brand new Flip camcorder to whoever regsters and posts the coolest bicycle-related photo in the Gallery by the end of July.
I approve registrations very fast so please come by, be a part of our community and share your experiences and photos.
I'm a mnedia huy by background (TV and newspapers ... see http://pcmike.com) and will get some of my photojournalist pals to help pick the winning photo.
