Hello, I'm over 50, female, a life-long Calgarian and long-time cyclist. Experiences include touring with a club, commuting, and a few years of racing (mainly track) when I was considerably younger and fitter.
My knees are slowly healing from an intimate encounter with a car dashboard and I recently bought an eight-speed hub gear bike (Rocky Mountain Metropolis) for pedalling to work on. I've never had a hub gear bike before and look forward to finding out more about it's care and feeding.
